The sun rises in the east
While the west coast of the United Arab Emirates with its cities Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah can be characterized as a region with an almost overwhelming buzz of activity in the last years, the east coast with its Emirate Fujairah appears to be tranquil and almost a little sleepy compared to it. But that is exactly what is so fascinating about it especially at such a close range to Dubai. Within just two hours you are in another world – and everything is real!
Picturesque beaches, winding Wadis, goats, camels and only every now and then a car, the quiet mountain scenery, hundreds of years old traditions and farms where fruits and vegetables are grown wherever the little water comes together to create one of the many oases make this place so special.
